Where can I volunteer or work abroad and learn spanish?

I’m going to be graduating in December, hopefully, and I want to volunteer or work abroad and learn spanish while doing it. I understand a lot of spanish, but can hardly speak it. I was thinking of the peace corps, but that is a very long commitment. I want to go for about a year if that is at all possible. Anyone have any ideas? Graduating from college with a bachelors in communication… Anyone have any good ideas?
VSO http://www.vso.org.uk/ (Based in the UK, takes volunteers from anywhere, has a six-month “programme” for people 18 – 25) I knew VSO’s when I was in the Peace Corps 30 years ago. They are a solid, well-known organization.
