Thinking of going on a Spanish course in Chile, thoughts?

I’m thinking of traveling to Chile for a 2-week language course to learn Spanish, in summer 2009. The course includes a 2-day excursion to a ski resort high in the mountains above Santiago.
Just wondering if anybody has done anything like this, or would recommend it and why?
Spanish is a language I would like to learn to a conversational level, and I have always wanted to visit South America, and understand that Chile is one of the more safe and stable countries.

Definitely do it!! On of the best ways to learn another language is to immerse yourself in a place where they speak it. Also you’ll get to know the culture better and gain an awesome experience. You will not be disappointed
