confuse in learning German and Spanish language?

Dear all,
I want to learn a foreign language. Now, I have to option. Whether I have to learn German language or learn Spanish Language. My english is good.
Please tell which language will be beneficial to me through which i get a good opportunity or good job.
Tell me also whats the benefits of these languages?

This will all depend on the field you are in and where you want to live. If you are in engineering then German is a fair language, if you plan on working with german companies. Just learning a language does not have any benefit unless you have a goal for it. where I am learning spanish is very advantagious, if you are completely fluent in it. you basically have to use the language as smoothly as you use your primary language or it may not be of much use to you.

Exactly, depends on what you want to do and where you live.
Probably in the United States is more requiered spanish, because of the huge hispanic population. German would be useful in technical stuff.
Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world.
German is the most spoken language in Europe as first language.
I'm a native spanish speaker (I'm mexican) and I'm learning german because I'm living in Hannover, Germany (Exchange program).
I like both languages. My first language is unique, though (spanish).
